Cold and cough

Cold is the most common name for influenza and ARVI. Cold is usually accompanied by temperature, cough, runny nose and sore throat.

Cold and cough

How to treat influenza and ARVI? There are two ways of treatment: treatment of the causes of the disease (effect of medicinal products on the virus) and treatment of symptoms (reduction of intensity of runny nose, cough, fever heat).

In order to obtain an efficient result in cold control, it’s necessary to use complex measures combining symptomatic and etiotropic treatment.

Influenza and ARVI are caused by a virus. It is therefore necessary to use a therapy which either neutralizes the virus or prevents it from infecting healthy cells of the body. In order to reduce the symptoms of the disease, products for mitigating headache, fever, stuffiness in nose and runny nose, sinus ache and sore throat are used.

NOTA BENE. Doctors do not recommend reducing body temperature if it is lower than 38 degrees Celsius. Fever is a response of the body to a virus, in such a way it activates its own protective functions (immunity)
