Tablet is a solid dosage form for internal use (sometimes parenteral) or for preparing other dosage forms, produced as a result of pressing pharmaceutical substances into flat or biconvex circles. Tablets may have sugar, dextrin, starch, cocoa or other coating. They should disintegrate in 50 ml of water (distilled) upon slow stirring in a flask at 37 °C within 15 minutes (for uncoated ones) or within 30 minutes (for coated ones).
Antiviral drug. It is used for prevention and treatment of influenza caused by type A virus, prevention of tick-borne encephalitis of virus aetiology in adults.
