On the eve of the International Women's Health Day, which is celebrated on May 28, the pharmaceutical company "Darnytsia" together with Gradus Research* conducted a study to research how women look after their health. As it turned out, about 75% of Ukrainian women in one way or another pay attention to their physical, moral and emotional state **. Among the main difficulties they faced during the last year were a high level of stress and insufficient sleep.

The study established that Ukrainian women, even despite the great war, manage to find an opportunity to take care of themselves. At the same time, the level of care for physical health and moral and emotional state is approximately the same. 22% of respondents pay a lot of attention to physical condition and 21% to moral condition. 54% of female respondents pay some attention to physical health and 53% to emotional health. And only 4% of Ukrainian women do not care at all about their physical condition, and 5% - about their emotional condition.

The biggest problems women faced during the last year were high stress (70%) and insufficient sleep (67%). At the same time, only 6% talked about everyday difficulties, such as insufficient access to drinking water and inadequate level of hygiene and sanitation.

The study focused special attention on what the respondents think about the state of women in the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

According to the civilians, women in the military have many more challenges besides stress and lack of sleep. 75% attributed such problems to insufficient level of hygiene, 74% assumed increased physical exertion, 71% - to wounds and injuries, and more than half of the respondents (55%) - to problems related to gynecological diseases.
