Darnitsa Integrates Quality Control and Logistics Processes in a Cloud Infrastructure

Darnitsa Pharmaceutical Company commenced the second stage of transformation of the management system. It provides for changes in quality and warehouse logistics management processes to improve and integrate information systems and processes into a single infrastructure. This is reported by the press service of the company.

The company noted that for this Darnitsa uses the most advanced SAP solutions on S/4HANA platform and cloud computing resources provided by Microsoft Azure.

The value of such approach lies in the fact that in the end a clear and consistent supply chain will be built. In addition, the transformation will give the company advantages in the form of increased efficiency of internal processes, ensuring the completeness and availability of information, and will expand opportunities for analyzing quality management processes.

According to Dmytro Shymkiv, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Darnitsa Group, “Darnitsa is transformed using digital products. We cooperate with the leaders of the global IT market and implement state-of-the-art solutions. The introduction of digital technologies with the simultaneous reengineering of all processes improves the company management, increases the transparency and efficiency of the business. The company management system will become an integral organism, managed by the cloud version of ERP. While changing, we are becoming a part of the global digital economy,” Shymkiv noted.

The changes will take the logistics processes in the company to a new development level due to the implementation of solutions from the global leaders - SSI Schaefer for a robotic warehouse and SAP in the field of supply chain management.

Olha Kramarenko, Chief Quality Officer of Darnitsa, noted that the digitalization of the key processes of the quality system and CAPA (corrective and preventive actions for improvement of the organization's processes, elimination of causes of non-conformities or other undesirable situations) will help not only in the matter of optimization, but will also ensure data integrity, as well as full compliance with the requirements of international cGMPs standards.

“We are improving the quality system on an ongoing basis in order to improve its reliability, increase the efficiency of processes and procedures, maintain the proper state of operation and maintenance of equipment, personnel qualification and training.
