Darnitsa Becoming a Member of the European Business Association

The Pharmaceutical Firm Darnitsa joined the leading non-governmental business community – the European Business Association (ЕВА). It combines companies that conduct their business transparently, on an anti-corruption basis, in accordance with the principles of ethics.

Now Darnitsa, which is the leader of Ukraine in manufacturing of medicinal products by volume, has become a member of the European Business Association (ЕВА). Darnitsa will join the association’s activities in the area of improvement of the investment climate, transparency and ethics business environment in Ukraine and improvement of legislation relating, in particular, to the pharmaceutical industry. The company has a strong team of specialists in various fields, they will work in the EBA committees in order to solve the issues that are important for the development of the industry, society, economy and the country in general.

Joining ЕВА is a logical step in the development of Darnitsa since it indicates that the company runs its business in line with European values. Our production meets the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements. The transparency and compliance of the business is confirmed with annual financial and legal audits. The responsibility to all stakeholders is a priority for “Darnitsa”.

We see the participation in solving issues that are important for the country’s investment climate and development of the Ukrainian pharmaceutical industry as our key tasks in the cooperation with the ЕВА.

Over the last three year pharmaceutics has become the driver of the national economy and has shown the average growth of 11% per year which is triple faster than that of the Ukrainian economy as a whole. The industry creates 0.83% of the country’s GDP and provides UAH 24 billion of added value.
Together with the market, “Darnitsa” shows the financial stability of growth. Since 2016 the company’s net revenues from sale of products have been annually increasing by an average of 18.6%, its net profit by 15.7%.
