Darnitsa Doled out the Money for Equipment for Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 4

Darnitsa Pharmaceutical Company together with the Zagoriy Foundation has purchased a rapid-response analyzer for primary detection of the coronavirus illness for Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 4. This facility is on the list of base hospitals of Kyiv for admission and testing of patients with coronavirus.

The apparatus has been given complete with nine express tests for 2019-nCoV coronavirus and three diagnostic kits. The total price of the purchased equipment set is UAH 155 ths.

The rapid-response analyzer is designed for scanning the results from immunofluorescent test cassettes. The device makes it possible to scan a wide range of test cassettes to detect markers of contagious and other diseases.

Dmytro Shymkiv, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Darnitsa Group:

“In Kyiv, seven base hospitals have been selected to accept patients with contagious diseases. These are the facilities that will bear the brunt. Realizing this, we have promptly responded to the need of Kyiv City Clinical Hospital No. 4 and provided funds for the purchase of a rapid-response analyzer. This equipment will accelerate the process of primary detection of the coronavirus infection, so patients will receive the necessary help in time.”

On March 17, Darnitsa Pharmaceutical Company together with the Zagoriy Foundation has already given three lung ventilators to the Kyiv Emergency Care Hospital and doled out funds to purchase another three units of such equipment.
