“Darnitsa” launches new product for pain relief on the Ukrainian market

The fight against pain is one of the priorities of “Darnitsa”, as it is just because of pain people most often go to primary care physicians.

As noted by the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP), it can be outlined as an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with actual or potential tissue damage or something resembling it.

In the absence of proper treatment, pain can lead to a diminished quality of life for the patient and their family. But if pain is also accompanied by depression and anxiety, the consequences can be much worse. In such a case, the pain affects productivity and can provoke social isolation and long-term disability.

Pharmaceutical company “Darnitsa” has offered Ukrainians a new product for pain relief – “Darfen Ice Fit”. This is a hydrogel plaster for external use that quickly and effectively relieves pain and swelling in adults.

“Darfen Ice Fit” has a water base and contains L-Menthol (menthol of natural origin), which cools the injured area of the skin. The plaster helps to sooth pain in the neck and shoulder muscles, lower back and back, as well as in the joints. It is used against bruises and strains, muscle tension, pain and swelling due to injuries, sprains and sports traumas. While the plaster quickly cools and soothes the area of inflammation and pain, it also has prolonged action for up to 12 hours.

“Darfen Ice Fit” is available for sale from November 2021. It has become a part of a new branded line of modern pain and inflammation remedies for adults and children.

In pharmacies Darfen® is represented by the local analgesic Darfen® Gel and oral forms Darfen® Long, Darfen® Express, Darfen® Kids and Darfen® Kids Forte*. Thus, the brand name Darfen is available in the form of gel, tablet and suspension containing ibuprofen in its formulation.
