Darnitsa’s IT Director Named as the Best in Ukraine

Andrii Romanenko, IT Director of the Pharmaceutical Company “Darnitsa”, became the BEST CIO 2019 in Ukraine among pharmaceutical companies.

Andrii Romanenko has 20 years of experience in management of Information Technologies, business processes and business transformation projects in multinational and Ukrainian companies.

Full digitalization of all processes is one of the strategic objectives of Darnitsa.

“It is Andrii Romanenko who is the leader of digital transformation projects,” says Andrii Obrizan, CEO of Darnitsa. “Under his leadership, the company built a hybrid IT infrastructure using cloud technologies, implemented an electronic drug master file, and began modernization of analytical systems that will make it possible to automate the management of the key performance indicators (KPIs) of the commercial department. In 2019, investments in this area amounted to more than 1 million Euros. In order to implement the digital development strategy, Darnitsa engages the best Ukrainian companies and cooperates with the world leaders in the field of digital solutions - Infopuls, Microsoft, SAP, Open Text and Stratesys”.

BEST CIO project is organized by “Komputernoe Obozrenie” Magazine aiming at finding the most qualified managers and CIO leaders of Ukrainian companies in various industries. The best IT managers are determined by experts based on an analysis of candidates' achievements. 

According to the organizers, the importance and significance of the CIO, especially in our realities, become increasingly greater as Ukrainian companies face new challenges that can often be overcome, including through the use of IT solutions and expertise that can be offered only by an advanced IT manager.

Earlier, Infopulse announced that it had won the 2019 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year for Ukraine nomination for the SAP Azure migration project for the Pharmaceutical Company “Darnitsa”.
