On March 4, “Darnitsa” was visited by a group of participants of the educational program “European Union for the Young: Employment Opportunities and Stability in Armenia, Belarus and Ukraine”. All guests are representatives of the organization “SOS Children's Villages Ukraine” – the company’s social partner. Cooperation with young people is one of the important areas of attraction of proactive people to the company’s team.
During the visit, participants of the project were presented the results of the company’s performance in 2018, in particular, those relating to manufacturing of new products, implementation of the program of development of employees and achievements in the area of responsible development. The guests also visited the infusion solutions shop where they received the information on creation of modern products and observed the entire chain of their production. Engineers of the warehousing complex showed the guests all technical innovations used in this unit: full automation of operations, use of robotized mechanisms, strict observation of the conditions for storage of the products, etc.
“I was particularly impressed by the degree of automation of the production processes, implementation of innovation technologies and more than high requirements to cleanness and safety,” shares her impressions Olha Holubieva, couch of SOS Children's Villages Ukraine. “For example, the implementation of modern GMP requirements and all necessary regulatory standards in the production activities.”
The project participants attended trainings on personal development for four months and, at their choice, developed their competencies in the direction of “employment” or “entrepreneurship”. The next step for young entrepreneurs is to submit their business plans to the competition committee in order to obtain funding for their businesses. And those who chose the direction of “employment” will take courses in various spheres to improve their qualifications or to master a new, more successful profession for further internships and employment. Pharmaceuticals industry is one of the most promising industries in Ukraine; therefore, young people looked with curiosity behind the scenes of “Darnitsa” production facilities. “By education, I am a roads design engineer, and now I am learning web design,” says Taras, a participant of the program. “After the excursion to “Darnitsa” I started thinking about working in the pharmaceuticals industry – it is both prestigious and very interesting to work at the manufacturing site of such level.”
The project “European Union for the Young: Employment Opportunities and Stability in Armenia, Belarus and Ukraine” receives funding from the European Union together with the Austrian Development Agency and is implemented in Ukraine by the International Charity Organization “Charity Foundation “SOS Children’s Villages” Ukraine in cooperation with the NGO “Alliance for Civil Rights”
