Medical Science Advisor


Full time


  • An advanced degree in life sciences (MD, PharmD) is required (clinical or scientific experience is also an advantage);
  • Successful experience in pharmaceutical industry from 3 years (in the area of Medical Affairs is preferred);
  • Strong commitment to compliance and to scientific quality and integrity;
  • Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical industry and stakeholder management;
  • Experience in providing clinical data and disease area training to both medical and non-medical colleagues;
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills;
  • Collaborative style of leadership, interpersonal and relationship building skills;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint;
  • Fluency in English and Ukrainian;
  • Highly motivated and self-directed with ability to skillfully plan, manage and prioritize projects independently; demonstrates resilience and flexibility while planning and organizing multiple priorities.


  • Development and introduction of medical strategy for the company’s product portfolio;
  • Through compliant scientific exchange, builds and maintains professional relationships with external stakeholders to expand Darnitsa’s research, advisory and educational partnership opportunities;
  • Provide medical input into the life cycle management of priority brands and TAs to meet unmet medical needs;
  • Establishment, support and development of relations with KOLs, researchers and experts, medical associations/scientific and research centers through participation in advisory and consultation boards, professional and patients’ associations, expert meetings, conferences;
  • Handling with medical information requests about the Company’s products and corresponding TAs from internal and external stakeholders;
  • Promotional materials review;
  • Development or initiation of scientific programs to explore unmet medical needs in priority disease areas;
  • Control over planning, organizations and implementation of medical projects (deadlines, quality of works) for the appropriate portfolio of the Company;
  • Conduct therapeutic trainings for Sales and Medical colleagues upon request;
  • Continuously demonstrate development of scientific expertise in disease area(s) of company focus.
