Dietary supplement Kalii iodidum-125-Darnitsa

Composition:1 tablet contains: active ingredient: 125 mg of potassium iodide; excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium hydrophosphate dihydrate, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, silica, colloidal anhydrous, sodium thiosulfate.

Recommendations for use:may be recommended to be used in the diet only in the risk of accumulation of radioactive iodine in the thyroid gland to ensure its protection from radiation.

Method of administration and recommended daily dose:a single dose may be recommended after the notification of a nuclear accident and in the risk of exposure to the radioactive iodine to protect against the thyroid radiation. Adults and children over 12 years are recommended to take 1 tablet and children from 3 to 12 years – half of crushed tablet after meal with a small amount of water or milk.

Time of administration:single dose is recommended; the appropriateness of repeated doses should be determined by the doctor individually.

It is not a medicinal product.

Contraindications:individual intolerance of the components, children aged below 3 years, pregnancy and lactation, hyperthyroidism, overactive thyroid, toxic adenoma, nodular or diffuse toxic goiter, dermatitis herpetiformis.

Warnings for use:do not exceed the specified recommended amount for daily administration; it should not be used to substitute the adequate and balanced diet. Administration during pregnancy and lactation is possible only after consultation with a doctor and on prescription. The preferable period for the use of dietary supplement is 24 hours before and 6 hours after the expected exposure to radiation. Repeated administration of dietary supplement is not recommended in people over 40 years old, except in individual cases by the recommendation of a doctor. Consult a doctor in case of individual sensitivity to the components of the dietary supplement.

Storage conditions:store in the original package, in the place protected from light, at temperature not exceeding 25 °С. Keep out of the reach of children.
