Неparin sodium is a direct anticoagulant; it blocks biosynthesis of thrombin, inhibits formation of fibrin from fibrinogen, decreases platelet aggregation, and inhibits hyaluronidase activity. When used locally, Heparin-Darnitsa Gel exerts antithrombotic, anti-inflammatory, and antiedematous effects.
Treatment of superficial venous diseases, such as varicose veins and related complications, phlebothrombosis, thrombophlebitis, superficial periphlebitis. Postoperative varicose phlebitis as a complication after surgical removal of the great saphenous vein. Injuries and bruises, infiltrates and localized edemas, subcutaneous hematomas. Injuries and sprains of muscle-tendon and capsule-ligament structures.
Неparin-Darnitsa is intended for local use. 3–10 cm of the gel is applied with light rubbing movements onto the skin of the injured area 1–3 times per day. The dose of the drug depends on the size of the injured region.
The duration of treatment is decided by a physician on an individual basis, considering the severity of the disease.
