Ritosse Plantain is a traditional herbal medication for use according to indications. The main active substances of buckthorn plantain are mucus, iridoid glycosides (aucubin, catapol), phenolcarbonic acids (chlorogenic acid) and their glycosides (verbascoside), saponins, flavonoids, tannins. Due to these substances, buckthorn plantain has anti-inflammatory, secretolytic and antibacterial properties. Dilutes sputum, promotes expectoration.
To be administered as a part of complex therapy of dry cough in infectious and inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract.
Children from 3 to 4 years old: - 5 ml of the syrup 3 times a day.
Children from 5 to 11 years old: - 10 ml of the syrup 3 times a day.
Children of 12 and over, adults and elderly people (65 years and older): - 10 ml of the syrup, 3-4 times a day.
