Thiamine chloride-Darnitsa is a synthetic vitamin В1 drug that belongs to water-soluble vitamins. In the human body, it is converted by phosphorylation to cocarboxylase, which is a coenzyme in many enzymatic reactions.
Treatment of vitamin B1 hypovitaminosis and avitaminosis, neurites, polyneurites, radiculitis, neuralgias, peripheral paralyses, encephalopathies, neurasthenia, gastric and duodenal ulcers, intestinal atony, chronic liver diseases, myocardial dystrophy, endarteritis, dermatoses of neurogenic origin, pyoderma, eczema, psoriasis.
The drug should be prescribed intramuscularly (deeply into a muscle) at a dose of 25–50 mg (0.5–1 ml) daily, once per day. Administration should be started with lower doses — no more than 25 mg (0.5 ml of 5 % solution), and higher doses should be given only in case of good tolerability — 50 mg (1 ml of 5 % solution). The course of treatment consists of 10–30 injections.
