Mental disorders and work with psychotrauma during war. Webinar 4

Recognized international experts from Israel, the USA, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Ukraine, in the course of an educational program, share their knowledge and experience in solving the problem of the impact that psychotrauma has on mental health during war.

Olena Haustova - a psychiatrist of the highest category, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Medical Psychology, Psychosomatic Medicine and Psychotherapy of the NMU named after O. O. Bogomolets. Vice-president of the All-Ukrainian Association of Psychosomatic Medicine, a member of the European Association of Psychosomatic Medicine.

Joshua Morgenstern with the lecture "In search of structure in chaos: caring for patients during war and other traumas"

Joshua Morgenstern (USA) - Professor, Deputy Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Deputy Director of the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS) at the Armed Forces University of the United States, retired Captain of the US Health Care Service. He is also the chairman of the Committee on Psychiatric Aspects of Disasters and an honorary member of the American Psychiatric Association. Prof. Morgenstern leads educational and consulting projects on mental and public health in disaster conditions at CSTS. In this position, he supervised and provided support during dozens of national and global disasters, working with local, state, national, and international partners to support the well-being of people and communities affected by these events.
