Darnytsia Has Officially Joined the Critical Medicines Alliance of the EU

Darnytsia Pharmaceutical Company has passed the registration procedure in the Directorate-General of Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Authority (DG HERA) and became a member of the Critical Medicines Alliance of the EU, which is a consultative mechanism to prevent medicine shortages.

As part of the Alliance's activities, Darnytsia will participate in the joint work of the countries of the European Union on the diversification of the supply chains of critically important medicines. Such work will contribute to the promotion of Ukraine's position as a reliable partner in the matter of supplies of high-quality medicinal products.

In order to obtain full membership in the Alliance, Darnytsia also underwent registration in the Transparency Register, which contains a list of organizations, associations, groups and individuals that influence the decision-making processes important for the EU.

DG HERA has started work on 16 September 2021 as one of the Directorates-General of the European Commission. The Directorate was created in response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and aims to prevent, detect and rapidly respond to medical crises.

The Critical Medicines Alliance is a consultative mechanism that aims to identify industry challenges and determine the most appropriate measures and tools to effectively address vulnerabilities in critical medicines supply chains in the EU.
