Rinasal Extra for the treatment of nasal cavity diseases
24 January 2020Darnitsa Pharmaceutical Company has introduced a new nasal spray of the Rinasal line – Rinasal Extra.
The spray is used for acute respiratory diseases accompanied with nasal congestion, rhinitis, to restore drainage and nasal breathing in diseases of the paranasal sinuses, to eliminate swelling before diagnostic manipulations in the nasal passages.
With this product, Darnitsa expanded the line of the already existing brand Rinasal. The distinctive feature of the new spray is its active ingredient. In Rinasal® the active substance is xylometazoline, in Rinasal Extra – oxymetazoline.
One of benefits of Rinasal Extra is its duration of action of up to 12 hours. Rinasal Extra also includes aloe extract, sorbitol, levomenthol and other excipients.
Oxymetazoline constricts the blood vessels of the nasal mucosa, eliminates nasal congestion and facilitates breathing. Elimination of nasal congestion promotes the restoration of aeration of the paranasal sinuses, the middle ear cavity, thus preventing the development of bacterial complications. Oxymetazoline has antiviral, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and antioxidant effects. This combined effect results in faster and more effective elimination of symptoms caused by acute rhinitis. The product is recommended for use by adults and children above 6 years.
